Yesterday I took the camera to Twenty Mule Team Road in Death Valley. The weather was perfect. I spent four hours there burning six sheets of film. The badlands were bright and almost uniformly lit giving me shorter SBR’s, and longer development times. I used a new compendium shade that I made out of black foam core, and attached it to the front standard of the Agfa with tape. I’m hoping the compendium along with the fresh coat of flat black paint on the interior side of the rear standard, will bring an end to the issues I was having with camera flare.
