Ortho interpositives for test plates
The testing phase using traditional film has taken less time than I thought it would. I’m making test plates today using the ortho interpositives I made yesterday. I have three interpositives to work with, with slightly different densities. So far so good. The bite on the plate is incredibly fine grain.
Going Analog
I’m in the process of transitioning back to traditional large format work, and will be printing this new work in gravure. I’ll post technical info and updates here.
My new 8×10
The Agfa 8×10 arrived today, and I bought a Schneider 240 convertible lens on Ebay-Australia. I should be up and shooting with it in the next couple of weeks. I’m really looking forward to combining the 8×10 with the plates.
