Onion in Charbonnel ink on Rosaspina

April 2nd, 2009 by laura | Filed under Laura Campbell Fine Art.

My Charbonnel ink came in this week. Beautiful inks and wiping is a different experience compared to Chemical Graphics ink. The Charbonnel is much smoother and there was no gumming up on the plate. It’s a really nice ink to work with. I’m trying to figure out what ink color to use on these new plates so that’s what I’m experimenting with this week. The onion was printed on Fabriano Rosaspina using Charbonnel black rsr, ultramarine, and raw sepia.
