February 1st, 2009 by laura | Filed under Laura Campbell Fine Art.Here we are with San José de Gracia de Las Trampas mission church in Las Trampas, NM. The village was established in 1751, and the church was completed in 1780. When we arrived, locals were gathering in the chapel behind the church for Mass. The Major Domo told us the church is too difficult to heat in the winter so Mass is held in the smaller chapel.
I used my Zero45, hand held, at f216 with Fuji FP100C, exposure guessed and not recorded. It was a perfect afternoon for a Sunday drive on the High Road. On the way home, I found some graffiti to add to my series for gravure printing….
