An Adobe Church in Silver

January 4th, 2009 by laura | No Comments | Filed in Laura Campbell Fine Art

A storm is working its way through Southern Colorado this weekend and has left 6 inches of fresh snow. I love the beauty of winter and the silence of falling snow. While I’m waiting for my new etching press from Takach, I’ve been keeping busy silver printing. This workprint is printed on Ilford Ilfobrom grade 1, developed in Photographer’s Formulary TD-40, 1:2. I haven’t used proprietary papers in a long time and I have to say, I really enjoyed working with Ilford paper again.

Adobe No. 2, Los Fuertes, Colorado, 8″x10″, on Ilford Ilfobrom, developed in TD-40, 1:2.
