RSSThread (Photogram in Gravure)
November 28th, 2008 by laura | Filed under Laura Campbell Fine Art.Here we are with another photogram using thread. I really enjoy the simplicity of the photogram process. The thread was placed directly on the plate and was exposed for about 10 seconds in a UV light box. Following exposure, the plate was washed in plain water, blotted, and baked in a UV box for 10 minutes. I inked the plate using sepia and red etching inks. The print was made on Hahnemuhle Copperplate 300gsm.
