In the Furnace Creek area, the alluvial fans were covered in Desert Gold. I made the image of the wildflowers the first morning there, at my campsite, during coffee. I set the camera on the ground and had great fun making a variety of exposures. By the time I finished my cup of coffee, I had 10 images of the wildflowers moving in the wind.
