March 3rd, 2008 by laura | Filed under Laura Campbell Fine Art.This was taken today in the Mojave desert heading west, on Route 66. Roy’s Cafe, once an active desert hub, is located in Amboy, California. The town was basically abandoned when Interstate-40 was built.

Having been here many times, this shot is absolutely beautiful and much better than anything I’ve shot here. Incredible. It seems so modern it is almost surreal.
