RSSGreetings from my camp at the base of the Sierra’s. I’m here until Wednesday or so waiting for a shipment of film expected to arrive in the next day or so. This is a great spot to camp. There is Big Sage everywhere, the wind has quieted down, I have a panoramic view of the mountains, and I picked up a signal for my mobile broadband which seems to be holding steady for now.
This is the latest pinhole, taken yesterday on the service road that runs across the length of Owens (Dry) Lake. The north end of the lake is being watered, under court order, to keep the toxic dust down.
